A variety of overlay options transform the Coachman door, making it the perfect complement to Craftsman style homes, or homes looking to update their appearance. Create the look of an old-fashioned swing-out door complete with hardware, or choose a more subtle overlay and no hardware for a clean sophisticated finish. The Coachman door comes in four different classic factory finish paint colours, and can be painted just about any colour to complement your home.
On a painted clapboard elevation, a woodgrain garage door fights the siding. The painted carriage version keeps the overlays and the divided lights but sits in the same visual language as the rest of the house — which is why it looks right on coastal and colonial homes where the faux-wood version looks borrowed.
White, off-white and soft greys carry it best; deep navy and black are striking.
